Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on 24 April 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. As of 2002, she took home the American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was raised at Burleson (Texas) and is an area in the vicinity of Fort Worth. Her vocal ability was noticed at the age of seven by the choir teacher of the school she attended. When she graduated from high school, Clarkson was sent to Los Angeles to try to be a part of the entertainment industry. When she returned to Texas Clarkson was a contestant on the first season of the American Idol, a show broadcast by the Fox Broadcasting Company. American Idol, a singing show that allowed the audience to vote for their favourite performer. Clarkson's charisma, voice, and humour were immediately adored by the viewers. The prize she won was $1million and a recording deal with RCA.
