Lis Wiehl was born on August 19, 1962 and is a former Fox News legal analyst.
Her previous position was as assistant professor of Law in The University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning programs, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl graduated from West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She holds a diploma from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985) in addition to she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She was a tenured professor in law at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
