Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine skiing champion who took home silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. She ranks second amongst all female skiers and men in terms of top scores. She is one the greatest and most beloved skiers of history. Caroline Vonn is a World Cup alpine ski racer from the United States. Also, she goes by Lindsey Vonn. There are 4 overall World Cup victories. She has a long and distinguished history with American sport. She is one of just six women who have been successful the five World Cup competitions in alpine. In total, she's won 82 World Cup championships. The top skier on the planet, and most successful American racer in ski racing has announced her retirement following their participation in the World Championship in Sweden. Following a string of ailments The four-time World Cup champion has decided to step down. She used social media to declare her retirement.
